TUPE - Transfer of undertakings
The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) exist to protect the employees of a business during periods of change – particularly:
- Transfer of ownership.
- Outsourcing.
- Taking services back in house.
- Re-tendering of contracts.
We will steer you through your responsibilities as an employer, with clear guidance that ensures as smooth a transfer as possible and the minimum risk of employment dispute/claims. We can also help you if you are already facing a TUPE issue, with practical advice on the best way to resolve the situation.
