I advise organisations on contracts, policies and procedures, and help with the employment aspects of specific commercial situations such as mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. I also carry out employment health checks that enable organisations to minimise their risk profile.
For individuals, I can help with negotiation and renegotiation of employment contracts so their interests are as protected as possible, particularly executives in senior roles. I also advise employees who are facing redundancy to make sure they are treated fairly.
If someone makes a claim against you, or you have a claim to make, then I can work with you to resolve it as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. I advise on situations such as discrimination, grievance/disciplinary, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing. If required, I can assist all the way to an Employment Tribunal to ensure your interests are represented and protected.
Alongside employment, I also specialise in data protection law. I advise organisations on how to meet their legal obligation to manage and protect personal data compliantly, and help them to address complaints and suspected data breaches.
