The primary driving force behind the merger was a shared desire to increase the legal services from which our clients could benefit. Business clients benefit from a much broader range of expertise, including: expanded corporate, commercial and employment teams, an extensive dispute resolution capability, and the addition of niche know-how in fields like media and technology. Families and individuals will also benefit greatly with an expanded number of conveyancing solicitors, as well as a much larger number of family law solicitors and divorce solicitors.
In analysing our collective strengths, objectives and the needs of our clients the merger between Pickworths Solicitors and SA Law seemed the most natural step forward. Most importantly, we came to realise that we had a complementary work ethic and staff culture and anyone who has experienced a merger or considered one will know that this is perhaps the most fundamental ingredient for success. So, although we’ll be saying goodbye to the Pickworths brand, we won’t be saying goodbye to the exceptional advice, innovation and client care that has driven Pickworths Solicitors for over 40 years.
