A community focused event, the St Albans Half Marathon aims to raise money for local charities and organisations as well as a great day out for all the family
We are once again proud sponsors of the St Albans Half Marathon and are encouraging companies to enter teams of at least four runners to take part in our Corporate Challenge, which will see businesses from throughout the district competing against each other in either the 5K or half marathon.
To increase the competitive edge, the company team with the lowest aggregate score for their combined first four runners home will win £250 for a charity of their choice, a trophy and bragging rights within the business community for the next 12 months.
SA Law have entered a team of 16 for this year's race, look out for our red tshirts around the lakes!
Supporting local charities
It is estimated last year’s run, the 35th raised more than £145,000 for various charities. This time round the chosen charity is The Ollie Foundation, a suicide prevention charity set up by three bereaved parents who each lost their children to suicide.
The Ollie Foundation is a St Albans based charity that raises awareness of suicide and provides suicide prevention training to professionals working with young people. Since its inception, it has trained hundreds of people and raised thousands through our fundraising activities.
