A community focused event, the St Albans Half Marathon aims to raise money for local charities and organisations as well as a great day out for all the family.
We are once again proud sponsors of the St Albans Half Marathon and are encouraging companies to enter teams of at least four runners to take part in our Corporate Challenge, which will see businesses from throughout the district competing against each other in either the 5K or half marathon.
To increase the competitive edge, the company team with the lowest aggregate score for their combined first four runners home will win £250 for a charity of their choice, a trophy and bragging rights within the business community for the next 12 months.
SA Law have entered a team for this year's race, look out for our red T-shirts around the lakes!
Supporting local charities
Last year SA Law raised over £2000 for Small Acts of Kindness alone and over £145,000 was raised for charity in total.
The community chosen charity for the whole event is Peace Hospice Care who provide essential care to those who have a life-threatening illness and their families.
They are able to provide an inpatient unit, Day Service at their Starlight Centre, Hospice at Home service, Inpatient Unit and Supportive Care team that includes bereavement support. These facilities are paramount to the work they do, the patients they care for and the families they support.
