The annual St Albans Half Marathon is getting closer and SA Law is throwing down the gauntlet to local companies by asking them to compete for The Peace Hospice. This is a fantastic, local charity which provides support for both patients with a life limiting illness and their families.
We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Half Marathon’s Corporate Challenge again, which supports this popular community event that is now in its 38th year and we have at least 15 of our staff taking part this year.
To join us, simply grab three of your work colleagues, choose a worthy cause, and get all your family members and friends to sponsor you. Then join us on 9th June for either the 5K race or the half marathon. (click here for more details).
The turnout for last year’s Corporate Challenge was excellent, with teams from Gates Ford, Sherrards Solicitors, Cleveland Scott York and the University of Hertfordshire to name a few.
The cost to enter is just £35 for the 5K event and £50 for the half marathon. Included in that price is exclusive access to a VIP Area, with a pre-race breakfast buffet, and a hot meal afterward.
Event finishers will receive a T-shirt, race medal and goodie bag packed with offers and treats. Naturally, the winning team also gets a trophy and a £250 donation to their chosen charity.
The publicity opportunities are also excellent, and include a listing on the Corporate page of the SA Law website, with a link to your own website and social media pages. You also get a mention in the Half Marathon e-newsletter, which now boasts over 11,000 subscribers. Local media coverage is also excellent.
