SA Law’s Workplace Wellbeing Achievements Recognised by Legal Sector double award shortlist

Tue 23rd Jan 2024

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for not one, but TWO prestigious legal sector awards for Workplace Wellbeing! The Modern Law Awards and the Lexis Nexis Legal Awards celebrate exceptional achievements and contributions and we’re honoured to be shortlisted.

SA Law’s dedication to wellbeing and mental health initiatives has been recognised by two legal sector awards bodies, Lexis Nexis Legal Awards 2024 and Modern Law Awards.

Over the past year we have sought to crystalise a holistic approach to support staff’s physical and mental health. We have strengthened existing initiatives and introduced new ones, to provide more comprehensive support.

We are pleased that our new initiatives have achieved positive results for our staff. In a recent survey, 92.5% of staff said the initiatives were meeting some or all of their health and wellbeing needs.

Chair of SA Law’s Wellbeing Team Christine Caffrey comments: “We take wellbeing seriously and are proud to have delivered a consistent programme of wellbeing initiatives that have made such a positive difference. Being considered as a finalist for awards as a result of these actions is the icing on the cake!”

Head of HR Kelly Pike adds, “The SA Law Wellbeing Team, supported by employees, Partnership and leadership team is committed to providing a positive, sustainable working environment and to have these efforts acknowledged is fantastic. We’ve helped staff with their mental and physical health, and the ability to balance work with home life – that is the real prize for us.”

Managing Partner Steve Ryan concludes: “We believe prioritising the physical and psychological wellbeing of our employees throughout their careers provides a sense of identity, intellectual challenge, and autonomy. We promise clients a holistic, thoughtful and bespoke service. In order to provide this, it’s essential we support staff with a holistic, thoughtful and bespoke approach to their wellbeing, so they can perform at their best.”
