ENFRANCHISEMENT & LEASE EXTENSIONS

CLEAR, PRAGMATIC SUPPORT TO DEAL WITH LEASE ENFRANCHISEMENT AND EXTENSION RULES – AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS.

CLARITY IN A COMPLEX SITUATION

The law regarding leaseholds is in a state of flux. A situation that’s causing significant uncertainty for landlords, tenants and investors. SA Law can answer your questions, weigh up today’s legal position against future possibilities – and help you make the right decisions.

Helping all sides understand an evolving situation

The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act, 2024, was designed to simplify the process of buying a freehold or extending a lease. While some parts of it have been introduced, in many areas the old law still applies. The question is for how long? This uncertainty means that many of our clients are left wondering if they should act now. Or if it would be beneficial for them to wait.

Enfranchisement and lease extension are areas of law in which we have a high level of expertise, and the firm is a member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP). From individual lease extensions to collective enfranchisement of blocks of flats and right to manage applications, we can help you explore your options and make the right decisions.

We’re proud to have clients who are landlords, tenants, developers, investors and local authorities. This breadth of service allows us to see every angle, understand each perspective – then use that knowledge to deliver solutions that add real value.
