SA Law pays tribute to Antony Davis, who sadly passed away on 24th December 2020 | Tuesday 5 January 2021 | 2 min read

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Antony Davis, SA Law Consultant & Joint Head of the London Office, has passed away.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Antony’s family and friends for his unforeseen and tragic loss. Antony was a highly valued member of our London office and will be greatly missed by all of the SA Law team and long-standing clients alike.

Antony qualified as a solicitor on 1st October 1982 and enjoyed an illustrious 40 year legal career in the West End of London specialising in property. He joined SA Law in 2018 after a successful merger with Leigh Davis, the boutique London firm he co-founded and built with Robin Leigh.

Robin Leigh, close friend and founder of Leigh Davis said:

“Antony and I met on the first day at University when we were 18. We founded Leigh Davis in 1986 and were best friends and business partners for over 30 years. He was my brother and a brilliant lawyer and I trusted him with my life. I will miss him more than I can say.
He leaves behind a lovely wife, three wonderful sons and two granddaughters all of whom he was immensely proud.
Life will never be quite the same again.”

Steve Ryan, SA Law’s Managing Partner said:

“On behalf of everyone at SA Law I would like to extend my condolences to the Antony’s family and long term work colleagues Robin, Andrea and Joanna who are constantly in our thoughts at this difficult time. Antony was a highly respected authority in property and commerce and it is testament to his legal acumen and sharp intellect that his clients would seek counsel from him and remain loyal to him over his many decades in the legal profession. He will be greatly missed by us all.”
