Where finances or arrangements for children need resolving, it typically takes longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe once we understand your situation.
How much does a divorce cost?
Costs depend on complexity and whether matters are resolved amicably or through court. We’ll always be upfront about likely costs from the outset and look for the most efficient route wherever possible.
Do we have to go to court?
No. Most divorces are resolved through negotiation or mediation without ever reaching a courtroom. Court proceedings are usually a last resort when an agreement can’t be reached another way.
What if my partner and I don't agree on anything?
That’s common, and it’s what mediation, arbitration, or court proceedings are for. We’ll guide you through whichever route is needed to reach a resolution, even where things are contested.
Do I need a solicitor if we already agree on everything?
