‘Love-bombing’ included in new CPS guidance on prosecuting abusive partners

It is often found that perpetrators will show their partners intense displays of affection to reel them in at the beginning stage of the relationship. Love-bombing is a critical part of the abuse cycle and is used to confuse and manipulate victims.

Partner and Head of Family Law, Marilyn Bell, was asked to comment on the importance of ‘love-bombing’ being included in the new CPS guidance on prosecuting abusive partners. You can read the article in full here.
