The team at SA Law are putting their taste buds to the test as headline sponsors of this year’s St Albans & Harpenden Food and Drink Festival.

The competition showcases and celebrates the rich diversity of fantastic of food and drink available in St Albans and Harpenden and rewards companies that excel in terms of quality produce, delivery of service and overall conviviality.

With a myriad marvellous venues in which to slate your hunger and your thirst, there has never been a better time to treat yourself with a trip out to try something new than during the week-long festival.

And organisers will be tasked with doing just that, leaving no scone unturned in their quest to identify those companies and individuals who outshine the opposition.

To coincide with the festival SA Law is producing the second edition of its cook book, appropriately called Food for Thought Volume 2, a compilation of recipes served up by friends and members of the SA Law team.

Among the guests contributors are Watford FC goalkeeper Hurelho Gomes who swapped his footie kit for an apron to whip up his favourite BBQ fillet of steak with peppercorn sauce. But the book boasts cocktail recipes too reflecting St Albans’ historic and legendary status of having more pubs than just about anywhere else in England.

An electronic version of Food for Thought Volume 2 will soon be available to download for free from the SA Law website.

A man with an appetite for success, Managing Partner Steve Ryan, is delighted and proud that SA Law has stepped up to the plate to sponsor this year’s event. He said:

“The festival celebrates the craft, diversity and creativity of food and drink across the district. The week-long festival is a fun-filled culinary escape and a great opportunity to enjoy time with friends, families and loved ones while sampling the best food and drink on offer.

“So what better excuse than to share a few more of our favourite recipes in our second cook book, Food for Thought 2.

“This edition features a collection of not only our team’s favourite recipes, but also some great contributions from friends of the firm who have kindly shared their best-loved dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Legend has it that St Albans boasts more pubs and bars per square mile than anywhere else in the country, so it seems fitting that in this edition we have included cocktail recipes for any budding mixologists!

“I hope you enjoy cooking some of our recipes and that it inspires you to get into the spirit of the St Albans & Harpenden Food & Drink Festival.”
