Fri 18th Aug 2017

SA Law is proud to be the headline Sponsor of the 10th annual St Albans Food and Drink Festival.

This community festival celebrates the diversity of culinary delights and produce available across the local area through workshops, demonstrations and sampling opportunities between 27th September - 7th October, 2017 and we are delighted to once again be involved.

“The team at SA Law is excited to be part of the Food Festival that showcases the superb businesses in and around St Albans. Since the launch of SA Law in 2005, we have seen a food and drink revolution in our City, where restaurants and producers combine the finest ingredients to create outstanding results. Our approach to the law is no different: our people combine a friendly, professional approach with specialist knowledge and a genuine interest in achieving the best result for you. That’s our recipe for success.” - Steve Ryan, Managing Partner

For the third year running, SA Law is publishing it’s popular Cookbook. It includes more recipes than ever with contributions from staff members, friends of the firm and respected local chefs, including Phil Thompson from double AA Rosette restaurant Thompson's; Drew Knight, Head chef of Dylan’s The Kings Arms; and Andrei Lussmann of Lussmann’s Fish and Grill, to name but a few. This year’s bumper edition also includes wine pairings, courtesy of the excellent Flagship Wines. Complimentary copies will be available to download and a printed version can be picked up in local shops.

The Food Festival offers myriad opportunities for everyone to get involved. Join the fun at the highlight of the Festival calendar, The Street Festival, on Sunday 1st October. St Peter’s Street will be transformed into a gastronomic wonderland of stalls, tastings and pop up restaurants.

The best local producers, hostelries and eateries will be celebrated at the annual Food and Drink Festival Awards. There are nearly 350 nominations on the menu in thirteen categories. The winners will be announced on Sunday 2nd October at Sopwell House. Voting is now open.

“Food and drink is an important part of the culture in St Albans. We are very pleased for SA Law’s support. It helps us continue to develop St Albans Food and Drink Festival, and celebrate the culinary expertise and local food producers, suppliers and restaurants in the area.” - Katie Foweraker, Festival Director

SA Law wishes the organisers and all attendees a fantastic Food Festival 2017. Salut!
