Is London still the divorce capital of Europe?

Sun 1st May 2022

In a recent article for STEP Journal – the official journal of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners – Kiran Beeharry and Clare Mackay looked at the effects of Brexit on cross-jurisdictional family matters.

STEP’s editorial team were particularly keen that Kiran and Clare looked at the challenges for those couples dealing with separation where there is a family company. For that reason, their article not only looks at jurisdiction rules for children and financial settlement matters, but also at the issue of jurisdiction for commercial disputes.

The article is available for members of STEP to read in full here.
