Justice secretary, Dominic Raab, is looking at ways to address the issues as to how the number of family cases in the court process may be reduced and is considering incentives to encourage parents to take the mediation route. But are financial penalties the answer? Could financial penalties for parties in family proceedings help relieve the pressure on our family courts?
