What you’ll do

  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts, corporate restructures, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and general company law matters.
  • Work with owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and larger corporate clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Draft, negotiate and review transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, investment agreements and ancillary documentation.
  • Take ownership of matters, managing transactions from instruction through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm’s commercial, employment, commercial property and private wealth teams to deliver joined-up advice.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen the firm’s reputation in the market.
  • Work autonomously, supported by a culture that values excellence, openness and ambition.

About you

You are an ambitious corporate lawyer (ideally 3 – 5 years post-qualification experience), looking for:

  • A step up from your current firm, with greater responsibility and client exposure
  • A high-quality and supportive environment where you can continue to develop your technical expertise and commercial understanding.
  • A role where your contribution is recognised and where you can build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues

You’ll bring with you:

  • Experience advising on a broad range of corporate transactions and company law matters.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing matters and transactions with an appropriate level of supervision.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver practical, solution-focused advice.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for contributing to the continued success of the team and the wider firm.
