The balance between creative freedom and protecting copyright

Front man of One Republic, Ryan Tedder recently stated in an interview with the BBC in May of this year that there has become ‘a copyright claim culture’ within the music industry. He stated how the odds of getting sued in the industry these days are higher than they have ever been, especially when cases involving huge stars become so public.
