SA Law are delighted to announce that Tahsin Chasmawala, a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, has been awarded the Older Client Law in Practice (OCLP) qualification by Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). This soft skills award sets SFE members apart from all other legal professionals, as it gives them a whole array of additional skills which are vital when working with older and vulnerable people.
SFE is a national organisation of around 1600 solicitors and other regulated legal professionals who specialise in providing legal advice to the vulnerable and elderly. With Tahsin becoming an associate member and her colleague, Catherine Robson, already a fully accredited member, we are super pleased that we now have two people in our team who can provide extra support to those that need it.
Marilyn Bell, Partner and Head of the Family Law Team at SA Law stated that ‘Tahsin has worked very hard for this qualification, which is only awarded to those who can show they have the knowledge and experience to back it up. We take pride in caring for our clients, and it is wonderful to have another solicitor who can go the extra mile to help the vulnerable and elderly.”
