We are once again proud sponsors of the St Albans Half Marathon and are encouraging local companies to enter teams of at least four runners to take part in our Corporate Challenge, which will see businesses from throughout the district competing against each other in either the 5K or half marathon on the 11th June at Verulamium park.
To increase the competitive edge, the company team with the lowest aggregate score for their combined first four runners home will win £250 for a charity of their choice, a trophy and bragging rights within the business community for the next 12 months. If teams sign up soon, they will also receive a free half hour massage at Perfect Balance and free friday training at Fitness First.
If you and your colleagues are in need of an excuse to get fit in time for summer, or would like a new challenge, join our training sessions! We will have a 5k and 10k training programme to ensure everyone is fully prepared for the big day.
These sessions will run every three weeks in the run up to the event starting from the 6th April from our St Albans office. Click here to find out more and sign up to train with SA Law, other local businesses and two qualified run leaders.
On the day, corporate team members will get free access to the VIP area with marquee, queue-free bag drop zone, luxury toilets and changing, outdoor and indoor seating and complimentary food and drink.
They will also get a listing on the corporate page of the race website (with links to their own business website and social media channels), a name-check in the race newsletter sent to 12,000 subscribers and invitations to a pre-race networking event.
You don’t have to run but can walk or jog instead, but remember the quickest team wins.
