Inspiring Herts Awards 2022 – A Night To Remember

Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce launched its tenth annual Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, and SA Law was proud to be headline sponsor for 2022 along with co-headline sponsor Viatris Inc.

Celebrating the best that Hertfordshire has to offer, the annual ‘Oscars of Hertfordshire’ awards ceremony was a feast for all the senses.

In our second year as joint headline sponsor of the awards, we were delighted to be back at the amazing Harry Potter Studios. Mingling with the finalists, honoured guests, and the wonderful Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce (HCC) team amongst the props and sets of Harry Potter world was a special experience from the very start.

Seated on Platform 9¾, the excitement was tangible, and it was only with thanks to the skills of the compere in gathering the room, that the welcome speeches were able to start on time.

After the opening address, it was time for more socialising around the table - eating, chatting, and trying to work out what the curious gift with the SA Law logo on it was all about. That kept us all busy until the announcement of the awards began.

As the presentations progressed, the list of finalists for the highly coveted ‘Inspiring Business of the Year’ award grew. Selected from the winners of all the other category awards, this special recognition is reserved for the organisation that makes the judges stop and say ‘wow’! As joint headline sponsors, we were delighted to join Viatris on the stage to present this, the winner of winners award of the night, to Amber Mountain Marketing.

Commenting on the winner’s innovative business model, SA Law Partner, Simon Walsh, said: ‘It enables SMEs to access digital marketing services they might otherwise not be able to enjoy, and offers apprentices genuine pathways to develop skills and relationships through hands-on work much earlier in their careers than they might otherwise get.’

We would like to say a big thank you to all the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce team for hosting a memorable evening, as well as for all their hard work before, during and after the awards programme.

Looking forward to doing it all again next year!
