Legislation - Introduction of the National Living Wage (NLW).

“Perhaps one of the most significant developments in employment law this year is the introduction of the National Living Wage,” says Chris Cook, partner and head of the employment team at SA Law.

Employers will need to ensure that workers aged 25 or over are paid at least £7.20 per hour. While an increase of 50p to the current national minimum wage may sound fairly small, the impact on employers will be considerable…
