Election legal special: Conservative and Labour immigration pledges

Theresa May’s announcement that the Conservatives are looking to double the immigration skills charge is the latest eye-catching proposal from the major parties to address a contentious election topic. However, the proposal is just one small part of a range of measures the Conservatives want to implement, with the Labour party putting forward a counter-offer in their own manifesto.
