Adultery is not grounds for divorce in a same-sex marriage

Marilyn Bell comments in The Independent on the grounds for divorce and dissolution available to same-sex couples. 

She states that media coverage didn't particularly flag this up at the time, or question why somebody in a same-sex relationship could not, apparently, commit adultery. 

Could it be that society is changing but the law is struggling to keep up with modern times?
