Three months on since the historic EU referendum vote the latest report from TheCityUK, released on 3 August 2016, calls for strong action in EU exit negotiations. In particular, it is lobbying for three important market modifications; sustained access to the EU’s single market, bilateral trade and investment agreements with key non-EU partners (such as US, Canada, Japan, Australia and other Commonwealth countries), and accelerated efforts to build relationships with emerging markets (such as China and India)
