SA Law throws down the challenge to Push it for the Peace

SA Law have thrown down the challenge inviting local companies to master the mud, water, and outrageous obstacles in Push it for the Peace 2017.

The annual endurance fundraiser for the Peace Hospice is being held in Cassiobury Park, Watford, on Saturday, September 23, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

SA Law are leading the charge with a team of 20 set to test their stamina and resolve in completing the course.

And they also have three from PP Wealth Ltd signed up too. So, why not get a company team together and join us? It will be great for team building and it will definitely boost morale, and the team that comes in first will enjoy bragging rights in the business community for the next 12 months.

Going back to its original home, Push it for the Peace will have a choice of 5k or 10k routes and each is characterised by new and even more challenging and stamina-sapping obstacles.

Competitors will face hazards in a number of different zones. There will be The Inflatable Zone, The Foam Zone, the Water Zone and, for the 10k route only, The Military Zone which will include a rope swing, tyre wall and mud crawl. Enter at your peril!

Some obstacles test your strength and stamina, some will get you muddy and some will get you very, very wet, but they will all be great fun.

It costs £30 for the 5k and £35 for the 10K route and you must be 16 years or over on race day to take part. Registration begins at 9am with the contestants setting off at 10am.

It couldn’t be easier to sign up for Push it for the Peace. You’ll have the greatest time and raise money for a wonderful cause too. Competitors are asked to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship.

In previous years Push it for the Peace has proved to be quite a spectacle so there will be lots going on for those wanting to cheer on their loved ones or workmates too.

SA Law’s Terence Ritchie said: “As a trustee of Peace Hospice Care, I am delighted that we’re supporting Peace Hospice Care and I am equally thrilled that we have a team of 23 colleagues set to push themselves to the limits and raise as much as they can for Peace Hospice Care.

“The closer we get to the event, the more excited the team are getting and the more people want to get involved. I wouldn’t be surprised if our team grows a little more before we get to the starting line on September 23.

“We are geared up and ready to go, but at SA Law we really want to throw down the challenge to other companies. Come on, get your team together and take us on.

“Push it for the Peace will be challenging but great fun and your efforts will be helping raise money for an incredibly deserving, local cause.”
