Immigration Update: Health Surcharge for Tier 2 - Intra Company Transfer

From April 2017, those applying for a Tier 2 (ICT) visa will be liable to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (‘IHS’).

Similar to the Tier 2 (General) route, when submitting a visa application, the applicant is responsible for paying a fee of £200 per person per year. The charge will apply to dependants as well as the main applicant.

Employers should consider this additional fee when budgeting for a Tier 2 (ICT) application.

Employers should talk to SA Law if they are worried about the cost of visa applications and the different visas available for individuals.
