EXPERTISE

Benefitting from 15 years in litigation, I advise on a wide range of disputes and offer particular expertise in intellectual property, competition and insolvency law.

I am a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in all courts and in all proceedings. Whether I’m advising an individual or a large multi-national corporation, I work to achieve my client’s objectives whether it requires aggressive action or a more conciliatory approach.

I lead SA Law’s insolvency and intellectual property practice areas, where I advise clients on both the non-contentious and contentious aspects of these disciplines.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Acted against an international imaging company in a competition claim
  • Acted for the claimant in a £5 million claim for breach of patent licence/abuse of a dominant market position
  • Acted for the successful applicant in the reported insolvency case of Wallace LLP v Yates [2010] EWHC 1098 (Ch)
  • Represented successful claimants in a £1 million international arbitration over a dock in the UAE

IN GENERAL

I am a former councillor for St Albans District Council
