I specialise in all aspects of property dispute resolution – providing expert advice to developers, investors, landlords and tenants of commercial and residential property.

I advise and represent landlords and tenants in relation to business lease renewals, rent reviews, forfeiture, dilapidations and contract terminations as well as a wide range of general obligations inherent in the landlord and tenant relationship.

I advise landowners and developers on an equally broad range of issues including the removal/enforcement of restrictive covenants, claims for adverse possession and general disputes on title.

My clients include managing agents, investors, and housing associations.

I have been working with national and independent retailers in the management of their property portfolio in excess of 10 years. I am currently speaking with the British Retail Consortium’s Property Group in the cross sector review of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 to ensure that suggested reform best protects retailer’s interests.

Successfully represented Mokoko, a St Albans based bar, over a noise nuisance claim in October 2008. This ruling could provide protection to other businesses against complaints of a similar nature. Click here to read the report that appeared in The Daily Telegraph
