Liam Bezani

Trainee Solicitor

I joined SA Law in 2016 to finish my training and qualify as an immigration solicitor.

Previously, I have worked at two of the largest global corporate immigration firms (Fragomen and Berry Appleman and Leiden) specialising in UK in-bound work.

Immigration is a fast-moving area of law, and I work closely with businesses to advise them on their duties and obligations as a Tier 2 Sponsor, including keeping them up to date and compliant with recent changes. I help them to establish HR systems and processes that monitor their migrant activity, and advise on any compliance issues as they arise.

Crisis management demands swift action, particularly if a sponsorship licence has been suspended or revoked, or a civil penalty notice has been issued. By quickly identifying the problems and implementing an effective action plan, I can help businesses to retain their sponsorship licence status.

I chose law because I like to solve problems, and enjoy the constant learning which goes hand-in-hand with the legal sector.
The greatest life lesson I ever learned was never burn your bridges as contacts are the most useful resource in the legal sector.
