Emma Richardson

Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, and Employment Team
Associate Solicitor

EXPERTISE

I work with clients on a wide range of matters including employment, corporate, commercial, insolvency and debt related disputes. I have experience in acting on behalf of individuals and companies from a range of sectors. Recognising the court’s approach to avoid unnecessary litigation, my focus is assisting clients to achieve the best resolution possible whilst minimising the costs in arriving at that outcome.

I trained at a reputable law firm in Hertfordshire and gained experience by working alongside the Corporate, Commercial Property, Family and Dispute Resolution teams.

Prior to my training contract, I worked for a global legal research and information company undertaking two roles during my time there. As a Paralegal, I was responsible for drafting legal content, monitoring and drafting legal updates, researching and providing written answers to technical legal questions across 35 practice areas. As a Product Specialist, I would engage directly with stakeholders, imparting specialist product expertise and facilitating product engagement and adoption in law firms across the country
