This includes extensive expertise gained in the fields of restrictive covenants and employee confidentiality issues, disciplinary and grievance issues, as well as the drafting of contracts, policies, procedures and employee communications.
Clients benefit from my commercial knowledge as well as my broad experience of bringing and defending Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal claims. Whilst experienced in all matters, I have particular knowledge in cases which involve the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations.
- Successfully represented eight claimants in TUPE Tribunal litigation, who were awarded over £380,000 plus costs following a finding of unfair and wrongful dismissal.
- Represented a UK plc in a High Court injunction and damages claim against a competitor company and former employees.
- Represented an overseas High Commission in unfair dismissal and discrimination Tribunal proceedings brought by an employee. Included issues of employment status, state immunity and diplomatic privilege.
