EXPERTISE

I work closely with clients in the private, public and third sector, helping them to enhance the success of their day-to-day commercial operations and major transactions.

I am privileged to work with clients from many different sectors, but have particular expertise in retail, financial services, FMCG and technology. Furthermore, my career has taken me to both sides of the law firm/client relationship, which gives me unique insight into what makes it smooth and successful.

In addition to my general corporate and commercial work, I specialise in the technology aspects of commerce and product/service delivery. This includes laying the foundations for successful contracts and licenses, and advising on issues that arise during the business relationship.

I also help clients with intellectual property matters, from proprietary research, designs and processes, to distinctive brand elements such as logos. I can help to identify key assets, and suggest strategies for capitalising on their value, while protecting them from exploitation by others.

My expertise also extends to the fields of confidentiality and privacy, including the new data protection law that incorporates the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Overall, I bring strong commercial expertise to organisations, with a keen understanding of what they need to do to survive and thrive in today’s economic, technological and online world.
